SYMPTOMS OF JINN POSSESSION

In Islamic teachings, jinn possession (Mas / مسّ) is believed to occur when a jinn influences or enters a human body. While this is acknowledged in Islamic scholarship, many symptoms can also be caused by medical or psychological conditions, so both medical evaluation and Islamic Ruqyah are recommended.

Below are commonly reported symptoms discussed in Islamic Ruqyah literature.

These symptoms are often considered strong indicators when multiple occur together, especially during Qur’an recitation.

Qur’anic Protection Recommended in Islam

Islam teaches spiritual protection through regular recitation of the Qur’an. Important recitations include:

  • Ayat al-Kursi before sleep

  • The three protective chapters:

    • Surah Al-Ikhlas

    • Surah Al-Falaq

    • Surah An-Nas

When to Seek Ruqyah

You may consider Ruqyah if:

  • Symptoms become severe or persistent

Important Disclaimer
